He was innocently working on yet another music project on his computer, headphones plugged in and mind probably lost several universes away and he did a double take when Alex tapped him on the shoulder. It was stupidly, immeasurably gratifying, in that inexplicable way that also applied to practically every-fucking-thing else that Sean did, to see his eyes widen in surprise and his mouth fall open at the sight of him before the redhead fucking leapt out of his seat with a strange, hybrid sound that was halfway between a squeal and a sob.
